The High Desert HOAMCO office will be closed on Thursday and Friday (7/4-5) in observance of the July 4th Holiday. Regarding holiday celebrations, please remember that there are no fireworks allowed in High Desert. 

The talk by Sean O’ Neill, the City of Albuquerque’s City Forester, which was originally planned for June was cancelled because of weather. Pending City approval, Sean has rescheduled his talk for Saturday, July 13, at 10 am at High Desert Park. The Landscape Committee encourages you to bring your chairs and blankets, as well as your questions and curiosity about the trees in our neighborhoods and open spaces!

The next scheduled Board meeting is Tuesday, July 16th at 5:00 p.m. The meeting agenda and Zoom link will be available closer to that date.

As announced in the Apache Plume, the Board would like to revive the Community Events Committee. Some volunteers have already
stepped up to help, but more Committee Members are needed. In addition, the Contracts Committee needs more members. If you are interested in either committee, please submit a Statement of
Interest (SOI) here.
